I was sleeping soundly as usual, but then, something started moving.
I could hear unusual noises in the room.
I switched on the table lamp drowsily, and was stunned for a moment.
The teddy bear from the cupboard was then on my bed, just in front of me.
An evil smile was formed on his face and it started to move forward very slowly.
I got out of the bed quickly and ran to the corner, grabbing a broom to protect me.
As it got closer, I smacked him several times but it stood up again, looking creepier.
All the stuffies then came into life and surrounded me in the dark, freaky room.
I yelled for help, yet no one came.
I was all alone in the room, hopeless.
I whirled the broom around but they’re just too many.
My mind was also whirling and my heart was pounding.
Then I woke up on my bed as usual!
I gave out a sigh of relief, assuming that it was just a dream.

The end! I know it’s cheesy but I’ve never read or watched scary things. *except for The Eye* :P
It was hard for me, but I tried my best! :D

The mysteries all began on Halloween day when me and my friend were moving to an old abandon house which will lead me to find out more about my father and how he left me. "Chandler!" I heard my name called out. I turned around and saw my best mate, Joey looking with bewilderment. "Are you gonna help me or not?" he asked. "Coming!" I shouted back turning away from my thoughts. The door creak opened by itself when we were at the entrance. "Wow.. an automatic door.. fancy eh?" Joey teased and I gave him an immediate look. We went up to the dusty stairs up to our rooms and unpacked our luggage. "Chandler, look!" Joey shouted and I turned around. There was blood all over Joey and the worst part is that he was still. "Joey? Buddy?" I called out but no answer. "Joey!! No!!" I shouted with my blurry eyes. "Happy Halloween!" Joey shouted out scaring the fudge out of me. "You almost killed me!" I said and then suddenly, everything rumbled, windows creaked, glasses broke. "What's going on?!" Joey said in astonishment. "I have no idea but I want it to stop," I said holding up to a cupboard. And then it stop. "Whoa.." we both said in unison. "Its just an earthquake," I said not believing myself. "Yeah, let's leave it just like that," Joey said reassuring me. "Hey do you want to check out the place which is very very 'clean' and we have to make it 'dirtier' a bit," Joey said right after we finished unpacking. "Ha ha, sure," I laughed. We went downstairs with a broom in my hand and a water spray on Joey's. "Yo! Joey!"
"Yeah?"
"Walk a little softly will you?"
"Why? Do you think the stairs will brea- ahhhhhhh" Joey fell down. One of the stairs broke and pulled Joey down. "Joey!? You okay?" I asked worriedly.
"Yes I fine but dude you have to check out this place,"
"Okay sure!" I said. "Talk about ironic," i said softly laughing inside my head. I jumped down of the hole and scanned the place. It was unusually clean and everything look kind of familiar.
"Check out this place," Joey said.
"Oh my," I said shocked.
"What? What's wrong?" Joey asked and I handed out the picture that I was holding in my hands.
"Wow, is this?"
"Yes, my father." I said. "Now I remember this place! It was the house that my mom and my dad bought it after I was 4 years old. My mom had an accident after 2 months after. Right after the funeral, my dad locked inside here, the basement for his studies,"
"What studies?" Joey asked.
"I didn't understand at first because i was 4 but he always said he will help me get my mom back but now, I think he was working to bring the spirit of my mom back," I said stunned.
"Wow, I'm really sorry Chandler," Joey said patting on my back.
"No problem, Joey. I can't believe this is the secret lab my dad is working on," I said walking around.
"Hey Chandler! What does that red button do?" Joey asked.
"I don't know," I said and I pushed it. A secret door came opening and fog approached us. The stench and the coldness also surrounded us. There came a familiar silhouette and finally it was clear. "Welcome home Chandler,"
"Dad?"

I fell on the cold, hard cement floor as I was groping aimlessly for my fallen flashlight. I bruised my spine as I was thrown back to a wall severely impairing my ability to stand up. Pain burnt throughout my body as if I was burnt alive. Claws appeared and ran across my space and burnt as my sweat mingled with the open wounds. My right eye was driven into oblivion as the claws skimmed over it immediately rendering me blind to every attack as I instinctively shut my eyes close. It bashed my head against the wall and I heard a loud crack unsure if it was my head, or the wall. I started to loose conscious as I start to fall onto the asphalt. Blood seeped uncontrollably and stained the freezing, darkness of the floor. A veiled figure appeared over me as I was losing my consciousness faster and faster as it loomed over my face as I gave my best grab at the flashlight. My eyes slowly closed as I lost my grip on the flashlight. I tried to turn it on…
I woke up startled and sweating from the nightmare. I familiarized myself to my bedroom as I sat down and exhaled softly. I got out of my bed to refresh myself. Then I caught sight of a hooded figure looming over the door…

The Gellers were moving into their new home. It was just the two of them; David Geller and his 8 yr old son, Henry. The child's excitement was faded by half when he saw the house. It was nothing like Henry imagined. The house looked old and Victorian and it was obvious the house has been neglected for quite a long time.
But the inside of the house, was surprisingly grand and cozy. The sofas were old, but soft and luxurious at the same time. Henry knew this must've been such a special place back then. His dad told him about how he and Rose; Henry's mum came to this house every Christmas holiday. Rose died when Henry was just 3.
Henry giggled as he saw his huge bedroom. "Do you like it Henry? Your mum and I built this room for when you're this age," David said in a laugh, but with a face which looked as if he was remembering something tragic. "Of course, daddy!" Henry exclaimed while jumping onto his bed.
The night time drew in and David tucked Henry into bed. "Goodnight, Henry," he said while kissing Henry's soft cheeks. "Night, daddy," Henry replied as David turned off the lights.
Even though the lights were switched off, Henry could still see his room faintly as it was a full-moon night. Henry couldn't fall asleep. It must've been a cause of change of place and bed. He twisted and turned on the bed. Henry heard a soft humming. He didn't know where it was coming from. But, the voice sounded so familiar and warm. "Is anyone there?" Henry asked in a shaking voice. The humming stopped. He became sleepier by the moment. When he started drifting into sleep, a pair of cold fingers ran through his hair. Henry got terrified and opened his eyes. No one was there. Nothing. "It must be a dream," he thought to himself. He closed his eyes again. This time there was touching on his cheeks. He was too scared to move. He slowly opened his eyelids and saw a woman with long, blonde hair in a black, smudged dress. She was standing still at the corner of the room. She looked up. Henry automatically recognized her as him mum. Henry screamed with all his might but no voice came out. He felt stuck and cold sweat started dripping down his forehead. The woman approached closer to him.
She was standing right in front of him, just close enough to touch. Henry screamed again, but his voice was blocked. It was as if he was mute. The hot tears streamed down his tiny face. The woman reached out with cold, shaking fingers and wiped away his tears. She held a knife in one hand. "I-I am sorry," she said in a voice which was barely a whisper. "I miss you," she said, as her hand staggered forward into Henry's chest and everything went dark.

It was the beginning of the summer holidays. I woke up to the constant scratching of my bedroom door. I rubbed my tired and drowsy eyes and stood up to investigate the cause of the annoying sound. As I started walking towards the door, I could see a shadow lurking beneath it and as I reached for the knob, it immediately moved towards the right and out of my view. I knew there was nothing but a wall in that direction, and hiding would be futile. I turned the knob, opened the door and swiftly jumped outside so I could finally unveil the mystery that was bugging me, and I had to admit, creeping me out a little. I was stunned to see just the same old fainted white wall, with no signs of disturbance, or life for that matter. I frowned and made my way back to my room. I entered it and as I was about to turn around to close the door, I saw a shadow approaching my own. I was instantly rooted to the ground, as I stared at the floor. It moved slowly and eventually came to rest as it towered and covered my shadow. My back became extremely cold, but that did not have as much impact as the next thing I discovered, or rather, remembered. My parents had gone overseas and I was left to take care of my baby sister.

Halloween story
My grandpa lives in a cluttered mansion with useless junk scattered and piled everywhere you look. Ever since my grandma died, he was an angry scrooge, convinced that the more money and stuff he had, the happier he would be. I hadn’t bothered to talk to him for years. He was a stranger. My mom insisted that all he needed was a little visit from his granddaughter. Honestly, I don’t think anything can cure his hardened heart.
My grandma death was sudden, and unknown. I was young, so I don’t remember but something about my grandfather’s story is suspicious. She was a happy, healthy woman and then… all of a sudden, she died in her sleep. And my grandpa’s soul went with her. Now all he is is a bitter stranger that stays cooped up in his ghost house and who knows what he does? He is dangerous. Being in his house is dangerous. This is the last thing I want to do, but my mother forced me and sent me out with just a plate of cookies.
I take a deep breath. Now I can feel my pulse at the back of my throat and knock. All the windows are closed. I watch the door knob turn and the door slowly creaks open. He stands tall, with a bitter look on his face. His face is wrinkled up, grey beard and cold eyes. He must not be used to visitors. Rumor has it his house is haunted.
He examines me, the plate of cookies in my hands and mutters in a raspy voice “What do you want?”
“Umm..” I hesitate. “Cookies?” Does he recognize me from when I was a baby? It’s been so long.
He grabs the plate from my hands and turns around.
“Wait!” I say, before he slams the door behind him. “It’s me, Petra; your granddaughter.”
“I know” he spits, lying I can tell, embarrassed. “Come in then”
“Oh, no. It’s okay.”
“No, it’s been a while. I insist!”
“Okay.”
The lights are dimmed and there are stuff; books, wires, cds, garbage and crap everywhere! I trip over the junk and follow him to the couch, clearing off the papers and files to sit down into the sunken pillow. It’s so dark and it reeks of cheese and eggs. Dirty plates pile up on the coffee table.
What am I even doing in this hell whole? What if it is haunted? What if my grandpa is planning on killing me? What if he’s a phsycho killer? How could a room be this dark in the middle of noon?
“Well enjoy the cookies.” I say, afraid. “I have to go.”
“Wait” he says. “Don’t go so soon.”
“Please,” I beg. “I insist.”
“No.”
I gulp. “Yes! I must! Mother is waiting!”
“Your mother can wait.”
“No, really, she can’t. Farewell.”
“Sit down.”
Now I am petrified. I run as fast as I can, hopping over the mounting piles. He chases after me, and grabs my shoulder. I scream “HELP! HELP ME! SOMEONE HELP!” But it’s too late, I have fallen into his trap. It’s too dark to see his face but I can hear him say “Whoever enters my dwelling, never gets out.” Tears are now falling, and my heart races causing searing pains to shoot up my spine and burn my flesh.
“Good work, Bill” says a woman. A woman; grandma…
There’s a pinch in my arms and next thing I know… blur.

Once again the sun set, once again the darkness moon rises. The entire part of the world and the entire part of the population of man-kind raise their voice and start to howl, the howl of tragedy. But on the silence moment after to howling, you have only on choice, you have no opportunity to choose, but the only thing you can do is create death. The only way to survive in this 5 hours of fear is to devour your own species, the man-kind, your muscles will loose control, your body will loose the humanity, but your heart, your mind is still as always, your eyes will always see everyone devouring, you will always feel the human flesh flowing down your throat. But, when the blessing dawn is back and you open your uncontrollable eyes widely, that time you always want to see your allies.

THAT E v E N I N G …
That was one of the frightening evenings; the wind was blowing so hard which make the curtains waving in the air, swinging back and forth. I was trying to close the windows, cause by the wind they were relentlessly shuddering. Time pass away, the wind settled down…
At night, I couldn’t sleep so…, I was working on my homework with my laptop…
Then, the main door started shaking… I thought the wind blows again…
It became stranger and stranger that it sounds like someone’s knocking… I walked to the door at a snail's pace then I opened it little by little… BUT… I saw nothing...
Therefore, I just closed it back and I walked back and lied on my bed continued my works… Then, suddenly someone pulled me down from my leg to under the bed. I was shocked by the moment, I screamed horribly but there is no sound… it was my brother with surprised also covering my mouth with his hand. I just hit his hand with force to get rid of me.
I just yelled at him… “Why are you doing this for?”
“ I was just teasing, what the heck is wrong with you..?” he replied with anger.
I tried to breathe normally and I sighed and said “Get out my room.., please?”
He did not say a word..., he just walked out my room… but… he was hesitated about something, he was looking at the door. I could some worries on his face, though, he didn’t say a word he just turned back and walked out of my room.
When he was gone, I looked to the door where he was looking at…
The curtains are blowing softly by the wind… AGAIN!
I was shocked at first, but then I calmed down talked to myself ‘Maybe… this is another trick from my lovely brother!’ I went to the door and closed it again.
It’s coming late and I became tired and sleepy. I walked out from my room, to wash my face and make a cup of coffee to fresh up. When I got back to my room…
The noisy rock music was playing without my permission, without my order…
Strange things keep going on but I just realized my brother again.
’ So, this is another present from my brother for the Halloweens’ Day? So…childish!’ I rolled my eyes and said. “C’mon Eddy! Is that it? Are these all you got?’’, I mocked a little bit loud, loud enough for him to hear.
I put my coffee cup on the table beside my bed, tried to keeping on my works for the third time. I was working on so well… until I had to find my coffee cup… I was confused... ‘Where did that go?’
I looked around and found it beside the bed but it was under…
I was so curious how come this happened... Then, I looked under my bed… There was anything so clear... I could barely see the shadows, moving… I guess it was a woman with her long hairs slowly crawling towards me closer and closer…
I SCREAMED BUT THERE WERE NOT EVEN A LITTLE VOICE COMING OUT FROM MY MOUTH AND I COULDN’T BREATH WELL. I FELL FROM THE BED, AFTER THAT I BLACKED OUT…
In the next morning, I asked my brother… that did he ever come back to my room after I asked him to go out..? But the only answer was ‘No!’ and he was not joking…
I was puzzling in my head with so many questions…
‘’ What was that thing? Was that just a joke??”
“Was that really a woman?”
“Will she come tonight again? or Is she still under my bed…?”

"Hello," I phoned to my friend from London, Aria.
"Hey, Who's on phone?" she asked politely.
"It is me, Hanna,"
"OMG, Hanna! what have you been." she asked surprisingly and happily.
"i was just busy with the work. And I am so glad that, I had chance to talk to you," I chuckled.
"Me too, okay. so... what is the reason that you phoned me? She asked me.
"No1. I missed you so much, No.2. I need somewhere to take a rest that is really quite, pleased and peaceful. I need break. Otherwise, the stress from work gonna drive me crazy or before I explode."
" You are so lucky, Hanna. I bought new house in here, London. I am gonna move to that house, next week. That place is like paradise, really peaceful, the way you want and also the neighbourhood are so friendly and helpful,"
" really? okay. So.. I will see you there.. next week, k? bye see ya" I put the phone away.
---------------------------- After 1 week---------------------------------------------
On the plane, my heart was playing drum and there were some butterflies in my stomach. I run to Aria and gave her a huge hug, when i met her. We continued to our house.
"we are here," Aria said.
"OMG, this is huge," I couldn't put smile away from my mouth.
"Come on! I will show you, your room," beckoned Aria.
We walked to upstairs. My eyes were too busy by looking around the house and my mouth was also busy for saying " Wow" all the time..
"Here is your room," Aria said and opened the door. The room was controlled by sunshine, it didn't even need the light.
"Wow! that is so beautiful," I said with the big smile on my face.
"Okay, stop wowing. Chang the clothes and I will show you around London," she winked at me and closed the door.
The mom painted black color to the sky and put the sparkling star to the sky. I felt cold. So, I checked if the air con was on or off. It was off and also the window was closed. My tired mind ignored that and made me sleep.
Next morning, I was reading the book in my room. I felt the very strong coldness again, that even made me felt that I was on the top of ice-mountain. 4 coats wasn't enough. So, I got out the room and i could feel the huge differences between staying in my room and staying outside of my room. I was confused. I went down to drink the water. When I was at the top the ladder, very strong icy wind pushed me, which made me moved. And, I saw the 2 boys were running around the house very fast. They stopped in front of my room and started to kill each other with very sharp knife. I had nothing to do, except for screaming and got out of that house. When Aria saw me, sitting out side of the house and my face was white, she asked me what happended. I explained her everything. She thought I was crazy and out of my mind. She took me for the walk to calm down. On the way, we saw the old woman. She saw us, pointed to that house and asked "Is that your house?''. Aria nodded. "If you are staying that house. You should know the history of the house. There were 1 family stayed in that house, had 2 sibling brothers, who fell in love with the same girl from their beside this house. That girl was really cruel like a witch. She played both of them by saying "yes" to both of them. One day, the girl phoned to elder brother to come to park. She made elder brother to see that she was dating younger brother. When elder brother saw that and chased younger brother. They ran the whole town. At last, they arrived in front of one room and they killed each other with knives. Murder happened in front of my room. I gave Aria a look, " I told you so,". She couldn't believe that. I didn't even dare to go and pack my things up, Aria, either. So we had to someone to pack our things up.
