Strange Mom Stories

9/11/2014

Assignment: Something is wrong with Mom (or someone very dear to you). She's acting so strange. In fact, she's keeping a secret.

Write a story, using your best descriptive writing, that depicts how your mom is acting and, at the end, reveals the big secret. Your story must include dialogue so you can practice your dialogue punctuation. However, your story may not include the phrase, "Mom, you're acting strange," or any variation thereof. Don't tell us (the readers) she's acting strange; instead describe it!

Post your final stories, with my corrections, here, by Wednesday, Sept. 17.

I came home with a guy who I saw on the streets. He was really short (2 feet tall) and his name was Stephen. I knocked on the door and saw mom my opening the door with an anxious look. I asked her whether I could keep my midget friend in the spare room upstairs. She shouted back hesitantly. I was like what the fish. She didn’t eat anything that night; instead she kept going into that tiny room every 30 minutes. So I decided to ask my friend’s opinions.
I texted Mrs. Trrreessaa” Hyyy wassup my mom is actin strange so what’s your opinion?”
I did the same to Kevin and Mario.
Mrs. Trrrreessaa replied,” yo I think it’s like this. Mom+ anxiety+ short tempered= midget. She was a math teacher so I wasn’t surprised she said it.
Mario suggested” It can only be Stephen.”
I thought he was useless. He only said it’s his girlfriend. Kevin didn’t reply. It’s obvious that he is begging for money on the streets. So I decided to look myself. At about 12 midnight, I figured my mom would be asleep. I went towards that room’s door, and I saw my mom guarding the door with a sniper, machine gun and a little pistol in her pocket. I wrestled my mom and managed to open the door. Suddenly, my mom shot me with the machine gun so I died. I found out the secret but it was no use, because I was dead.
Secret: My mom as fascinated by midgets. She kept it a secret but nobody knew except me. In the room there was a midget.

The rain pattered over the small group of dark clothed people. I looked back, Mom still wasn't here.
Hours passed, by now everyone was gone. I was still there sobbing a little. Staring at the newly dug grave, I reached into my bag and pulled out a tissue. The grave read: RIP, Thomas William 1967-2014.
"You should come home now," a soft voice behind me said.
I didn't turn, I knew who that was. It was Mom.
"Why didn't you come? You said you would. WHY WEREN'T YOU HERE!" my usual soft voice turning into a scream.
"Come home," Mom repeated, much more firmer than before. Then she grabbed my hands and pulled me toward the car. I struggled at first, but my mother's grip was firm, too firm.
That was 2 days ago when my father died. By now mother has almost returned to her normal self. Almost.
"Honey, are you hungry?" my mother asked.
"Yes! I'm famished," I replied.
"Go to your room now, I'll bring it to you," she replied.
I nodded and obeyed. I went into my room, and my pet dog, Buddy came to greet me, "Hello Buddy. You hungry? Yes? Wait now okay, mother's going to bring some food for both of us."
"Here's your food darling!" said mother and handed me a plate of strange looking food.
"What's this?" I asked suspiciously.
"Just stew," she replied and hurried out of the room before I could ask more questions.
"Here Buddy, food, delicious food. Yum, yum, yum!" I coaxed and dropped some on the floor for him.
He sniffed it and chewed it up. Just when I was about to take a bite, Buddy started whining then choking. "MOM!" I screamed desperately, "MOM! Buddy's choking!"
My mother rushed into the room with an evil grin but it turned into a frown when she saw me. She quickly turned into a smile again, "It works! My experiment works. But my I'm disappointed to see Buddy dying instead of you."
"Mom?" I asked confused, "Mom?"
But my mother did not respond. She hurriedly locked herself into her room. I banged on her door but it was no use, she wouldn't come out. When I went back to my room, Buddy was dead. I cried for hours but it was no use, Buddy was dead.
I threw out my food and buried Buddy in my backyard.
"I'm so sorry I couldn't save you Buddy," I cried and locked myself in my room.
The next few days, I avoided my mother. I woke up before she did and went to school early. I made my own lunch and comes home very late. Mom wasn't mom anymore. I still did not know if it was a coincidence or not but right after Buddy ate mom's food, he started to choke.
It was a Sunday. I was in my room, rolling a pencil around for hours. I had no homework, nothing to do. On Sundays, dad would usually go to work and mom would take me to see a movie together. I decided to call my friend, Stacy and go to a movie with her.
I punched in Stacy's number and she picked up immediately.
"Hello?" Stacy asked, "Who is this?"
"Hey, Stacy. It's me Mary," I replied.
"Oh Mary! Hello, what do you need?"
"I-I was wondering if you'd like to go to a movie with me. My treat,"
"Sure, I'll meet you at the Robinson's cinema in half an hour. Their showing the new Haunted mansion movie called Haunted Mansion II,"
"Alright, thanks!"
"See you,"
I hung up the phone and went to get dressed. I rummaged through my closet and found the perfect outfit. I put it on and grabbed my purse, then I headed downstairs. I caught sight of my mother in the living room. Just my luck to have a house where the front door is at the living room and we have to back door.
"Why hello honey!" the familiar sickening voice of my insane mother greeted.
I ignored her and kept going.
"Honey, oh you've prepared for our movie!" she exclaimed.
I stopped, "Actually mom I decided I'm not going to the movies today, I have plans with Stacy."
"Oh well what are you going to do with her?" My mother asked disappointed.
She sounded genuinely disappointed so I decided to tell her the truth, "Well, I and Stacy are going to watch a movie at the Robinson's cinema."
"Oh, well I can come and watch the movie with you," my mother suggested.
"No mom. This is strictly only friends. No adults," I told her.
She didn't seem to listen, "OH WHAT THE HECK, I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU SAY. YOU'RE NOT MY MOM! I'M COMING WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!" she suddenly snapped.
She grabbed my hand and shoved me into the car. I tried to protest but it was no use. She started the engine and drove away to Robinson's cinema.
"Hi Mary! Hi Mrs. William," Sally greeted when she caught sight of us. She pulled me aside and whispered, "I didn't know you were bringing your mom, I brought some wine for our movie."
"I'm sorry Stacy, I didn't know my mom was coming too! I just told her I was going to meet you here and she just shoved me into the car and drove here," I told her.
She sighed, "Guess the wine's for nothing," she said and tossed a can into the bin.
"So what movie are you going to watch?" my mother asked.
"We're going to watch Haunted Mansion 2," Stacy replied, with fake cheerfulness.
"That doesn't sound appropriate at all!" my mo

"That doesn't sound appropriate at all!" my mom exclaimed, "Why don't we watch that instead?" she suggested pointing to a large billboard that read 'BABY LEARNS MATH!'
But before I could protest mom had already bought three tickets and handed each one to us.
"Mom why don't you go inside the theatre while me and Stacy buy snacks. And don't mind us if we're a little late we will be sitting right behind you," I told her and shoved her into the theatre.
"Stacy I have a plan, give me your ticket," I told her. She gave me her ticket and I threw both tickets into the bin and bought haunted mansion 2 tickets instead.
"Won't your mom notice?" she asked nervously.
"People have to wear ugly baby masks if they watch the movie so mom wouldn't notice. Besides, our movie finishes 20 minutes earlier than hers," I explained.
Since I had no money left from buying the Haunted Mansion II tickets, Stacy bought 2 large tubs of popcorn, 2 cans of 100 plus and a bag of potato chips.
I had a clean getaway. Mom didn't find out about watching the haunted mansion movie.
One day as I was coming home from school, I found my mother cooking pancakes and baking a cake.
"Would you like to try one?" mother asked when she spotted me coming through the door.
I nodded eagerly. Mom may have gone nutty but that wouldn't stop me from eating one of her award winning pancakes.
"Thish ish the besh pancash eva!" I complimented with my mouth full.
I felt a burning sensation in my stomach but I ignored it, my mother's pancakes were far more important. The more I ate the more the pain increased until I couldn't take it anymore. I let out a shout of pain and fell on the floor clutching my stomach. I saw mother bending over me laughing, "I killed…. Fa… kill…you." Was all I heard when I blacked out.
Seeing my lifeless body while floating in the air made me realize, I did not black out. I was dead. It also made me realize mom had killed me and my father deliberately.

WOW! Great story, Sheryl! Thanks for posting. :)
Be careful of your comma splices! Remember that one sentence is made up usually of one subject+one predicate. If you want to put two sentences together, you have to use a comma AND a conjunction.

Don’t you ever worry
“Good morning, my gorgeous family!” I yelled as I ran down the stairs for breakfast. Today was strange. Normally, there would only be mom in the kitchen making pancakes but today dad was at the dining table reading a newspaper. Then I saw my brother, Hunter, who only wakes up at noon, devouring his pile of pancakes and it was 7:00 in the morning.
“Good morning, sleepy head!” Hunter exclaimed with pancakes stuffed in his mouth.
Then dad smiled at me but my mom wouldn’t even bother to look or smile at me.
“She hasn’t spoken a word since we sat at the table,” said dad. Then I sat next to Hunter.
“Uh mom, hello?” I stammered. Both of her eyes were all focused on the stove.
Then suddenly she replied, ”Good morning, my sweetheart.” Then she put some pancakes onto my plate. I ate and then went upstairs to get ready for school. While I was eating my pancakes, I noticed something. Mom wasn’t talking with us she didn’t have breakfast. Usually, she talks and laughs while eating with me and dad. Well, maybe she had a fight with dad or maybe she was feeling sick, I thought.
“I’m going to school!” I yelled from the front door to my family. The day went well but school was boring as usual. When I got home, I found my brother home earlier than he usually was. I knew it was early for my dad to get back home from his work.
“Where’s mom?” I asked my brother.
“Eh. Haven’t seen her since I go here, baby sis,” he replied.
I went around the house to look for mom to tell her how much I hated history class, because that’s what I usually do after I come back from school. We talk about the things going on at my school, but today I couldn’t even find her. At last, I found her starring outside the window in her room.
“Hey, mom! History sucks! Why do we have to learn about..” I grumbled but the she cut me off.
“WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE??!! CAN’T YOU MIND YOUR OWN BUDINESS?!?!”
“Okay. Okay. I’ll leave you alone,” I replied. Then I left the room. For the whole evening , I sat thinking, what happened to my mom? Am I the one in the house that noticed tis or did everyone notice but doesn’t care?
Night fell, and the next morning mom was still not acting herself. Days and weeks passed. She wouldn’t let anyone near her She just kept pushing everyone away. The more she kept pushing me away, the more thoughts hit my head. S
Soon, dad left town for a business trip. That week, I could hear her scary creepy laughs. Soon, hunter heard them too. She wouldn’t do the housework anymore. She wouldn’t cook or wash dishes anymore. She wouldn’t even make breakfast anymore.
Then the morning that dad was coming home, as usual I went downstairs and found my mom making breakfast.
“Good morning, sweetie. I made your favorites. Come sit and eat,” she greeted me with a smile. A smile that I haven’t seen in ages.
“Good morning, mom,” I greeted back.
This was really strange. All of a sudden, my mom was herself and the next minute she would turn into some psycho serial killer.
“Since, you’ve got no school today. We should spend the day together and have a great sinner when your dad comes back, Okay?” she asked with her sweetest smile.
“Splendid,” I replied.
We spent the day together and an hour later before dad came back, I was in my room getting ready to go out for dinner. Hunter was downstairs, gaming. Them, I saw mom in her gorgeous white dress.
“You look so gorgeous and flawless, mom,” I gleamed.
“Thank you, darling,” she replied. Soon, the door bell rang.
“I’ll get it,” Hunter groaned. “Oh it’s dad!” he exclaimed.
So I went back into my room to get my phone. ‘BANG!’ I heard a loud noise.
“Hazel!” bellowed Hunter. I ran downstairs, and found my dad in his puddle of blood, dead.
“Hazel!” cried Hunter again. This time the voice came from my room. I dashed back into my room and found a dagger stuck in my brother’s stomach.
“MOM! MOM!” I yelled with tears in my eyes, Suddenly, the light went out then it was on again. The lights were dim.
“Hazel, sweetheart,” I heard my mom calling. So, I walked out of the room, into the halls.
“MOMMY! Hunter is hurt. We need to help me!” I cried helplessly.
“I’m right here, baby,” she cracked up and I turned around to see her. Her white gorgeous white dress was stained with blood and a dagger in her hand. Blood was all over her body and her fac. She came near to me with her dagger aimed at my stomach. Her other hand squeezed my arm, and she ciphered into my ears, “Oh my little sweetheart, don’t you ever worry.”

The Secret
“Mom, are you coming to dinner?” I asked. I don’t know what’s going on. She’s been taking out her old stuff and doing nothing with it. She is in bad shape, worse than when Dad died. I mean, sure, she cooks and did the laundries but it’s just not the same.
“I’m not hungry yet,” she replied. “I’ll eat later, honey.”
I didn't say anything but I was sure worried. After she ate, she just went back into that old room. There was no more TV time or family talk. I wondered if she even sleeps. Every time I went to look at her, she was either looking at her old photos or old clothes.
One night she came into my room and told me, “You know that your father and I love you right? We tried to do the best things for you but we did not have a lot of things. I want you to know that everything in the world is precious.”
As she talked, I realized tears were filling up in her eyes. I could not understand what she meant. Why was she saying that stuff?
As I returned from school I shouted, “Mom, I’m back! Mom?”
I went into her room and there she was. Just lying on the bed, not even twitching.

Mom’s big secret:
“Mom! I am back,” shouted Mike as he closed the door. There was no answer. Complete silence. Mike felt something peculiar was going on. He saw an opened door, and he silently walked into the door. Mike encountered his mom who was walking around the room biting her fingernails. “Mom! What are you doing?” asked Phone. Mike’s mom Serena got freaked out. Serena rushed into Mike in a blink of an eye and started strangling Mike.
“You never ever sneak up on me again. Okay?” threatened Serena. Wow, mum’s eyes looked darker than usual.
“Okay, Okay,” please put me down,” asked Phone slowly. Serena put Mike down, and suddenly her eyes seem lighter now.
“I am so, so sorry,” told Serena to Mike politely. “Today has been a really freaky day for me,” growled Serena to Mike. “I am really out of my mind today,” explained Serena to Mike.
“It’s a sunny day mom. Let’s go for a picnic.” exclaimed Mike with glee.
“No!” blurted Serena. “I mean today I am not feeling well. Maybe next time okay?” bragged Serena to Mike.
“Okay….,” replied Mike quietly. “Mom where is lunch? I am hungry.” wailed Mike like a baby.
“Sorry… I, I… couldn’t… go….to the market….today…,” said Serena softly.
“Mom. Why. Oh.Why.” sputtered Mike. “Uhhhhh… Today is a really badly day…. I need some fresh air,” cried Mike. Mike opened up the curtain when sunlight dashed in the house like a flash bullet.
“Ahhhhhh!” Serena screamed in pain as he dashed to the nearest corner of the house, and hid there looking scared. “Please I beg you close the freaking curtain!” shrieked Serena. Serena started to release smoke from her body as if she was burning.
“Mum. What’s wrong?” questioned Mike, as he closed the curtain.
“Phew,” said Serena, relieved.
“Wow! Mum is really, really strange,” thought Mike in his puzzled mind. Serena walked into her room and locked herself inside.
“Gonna read a book. Today is really frustrating,” “Gonna calm down,” thought Mike. Mike picked up a book and started reading it. The book title was: Vampires. The book said: Vampires are mythical creatures that gather essence from humans in the form of blood.
These are the characteristics of vampires:
1) They hate sunlight (burns them when their skin come into contact with sunlight.)
2) Drinks blood (from humans, and without it they look like they are out of their mind.)
3) Their emotions are amplified. (For example if they have a temper when human and if he/she turns into a vampire he/she will have a greater temper.)
“Huh. Mum seems to qualify for all the characteristics of vampires. Wait is she….a vampire? No, no, no don’t be stupid, Mike. Stop thinking nonsense,” Mike told himself. Suddenly Serena screamed, “Is dusk near?”
“Umm, yes mum. Why?” asked Phone curiously. Immediately Serena came out of her room and walked out of the door swiftly and without a word. After a while she came back looking really refreshed. After 10 minutes she became frustrated again and walked out of the house again, and coming back looking refreshed again. Mike spotted something odd. On Serena’s shirt there was a red circle, and it looked like blood.
“Oh my goodness, is my mom really a vampire? I need to stalk her when she goes out of the house again,” plotted Mike. When Serena walked out of the house, Mike followed her silently. Mike witnessed Serena biting someone in the neck. Chomp. Chomp. Chew.
“Mum. What are you doing?” shouted Mike terrified.
“Hi son,” Serena replied, and rushed to Mike’s neck and bit him. “Ahhhhhhhhhhh!”……….

Mary Williams a.k.a Hera

I was coming home. I was expecting my mother to wait for me in front of the house like she always did. But today, she wasn't there.
"She must be busy," I thought to myself. So I just walked home by myself, humming. But then, I heard a "twitch" like someone stepped on a dried leaf. I turned around, like a ninja. I felt someone was watching me like a CCTV. I felt chill runs down my spine. So, I ran as fast as Usain Bolt to my house.
When I reached home, I saw my mom cooking. She noticed the fear in my eyes.
She asked, "What happen, dear?" But her voice wasn't showing much attention. I told her that it was nothing. Then, with a smile, she showed me what she was cooking. It was drooling. My mom cooked food, but it was never as delicious or good-looking as this one. It was smoked chicken with different vegetables. So I quickly took a shower and had dinner.
While having dinner, my mom had an upset look on her face. She was watching me. She wasn't as active as she was in the evening. But I didn't really notice that. After dinner, I went into my room without talking to anyone to read Percy Jackson & The Olympians. That was when she screamed at me.
"Thou!!! Don't act like thy isn't part of the family. Thy isn't able to have a great family if thy continues to act like this. I want a great family or thy shall be banished by me."
After speaking this nonsense, my mom fainted. In just a blink of an eye, she got up saying, "I feel dizzy. I think I need to rest." but she didn't look like she was.
So I went into my room, read some chapters of Percy Jackson's forth book, THE BATTLE OF LABYRINTH. On one of the page, I noticed a selfish goddess who doesn't care about anyone having a good family or a marriage. It was Hera, goddess of marriage.
"Very selfish," I thought.
I put my book down and closed my eyes. Then I dreamt about something. My mom was stealing a chicken. She didn't see me. AND PLOP! I got to another place where my computer, Percy Jackson books, cards and phones were on fire. Then, a silhouette of a woman got in. It was my mom.
Then, I woke up. It was Saturday. There were noises in the neighborhood. I went out to see what it was and heard that Mr. John, our neighbor had lost a chicken. I remembered the dream I had ...

In the afternoon, I was doing homework when my phone rang. It was my friend.
When I picked it up, "Hurry! Jennifer fainted!" Jennifer is my girlfriend. I rushed to the hospital. When I opened the door, I saw my mom standing beside Jennifer.
She said in a violent voice," I don't want thy with others who cause our family to fell apart!"
That was when I realized that the gods really did exist... and yes, there weren't market at the ancient time.

“Ting!” I have a message from someone. It is unusual. I know that Mr. Bruce will not be when he caught me using my phone. I slowly grab it and put it on the top of my knees. I steadily take out my phone from my bag. I quietly push myself in the corner of the room. I cover the phone with my bag. I read the message through the glowing screen. The message says:
“Son, I have work to do at home so I can’t pick you up after school.
The weather is good today. You can take a taxi home.
Mom”
“Oh. Come on!” I shouted in the corner of the class.
The class went quiet. I can even hear footsteps from above. Mr. Bruce started at my eyes. His brown eyes turn red.
He shouted, “Chan!”
I wonder, “What is happening to me today. Things are just not going right.”
I am looking a shiny bright sun through the window of the taxi. “Here we are,” I mumble.
“Be safe!” the taxi driver leaves me at the front of my house. I knock on the door.
“Knock, Knock, Knock”
The front door is locked. I smell something burning from the back of the door. I can hear the wood cracking. I accidently shout, “Mom!” I can’t wait to see what is going on at the back of the door. I decided to bang the door with force. I step back heavily. “Crr!” the ashes scatter beneath my shoes. I run into the old cracking door. Then I realize that I saved some fireworks for my birthday in the kitchen. “Oh my god!” I shout.
The End

I was waiting for my mother to pick me up. John was playing a video game and Alex was watching him playing. The others were playing football in the field. Alex's hands were not still stay. He kept doing something. Then, my mother called me and I told her to wait a while.
"Wait, I got some cookies for you guys!" my mother shouted and showed the cookies that she baked.
"Sorry mom," I replied." I just ate a cup of noodles just before you arrive. Why not you give it to my friends?" I asked.
"Yeah! We are starving!" John shouted.
"OK, here you go," said mom and gave them some cookies.
"Augh! These cookies taste so sour! What did you put it?" Alex yelled.
"Mmm... Well, I put some baking soda and some kind of syrup in your room..."
"Wait," I yelled. "You mean, you put my acid for the science experiment?" I said and my friends then spit out the cookies. They start to feel pain in the stomachs.
"Well, at lease it was diluted one. Which is the other meaning that it is a lot safer to eat it and it won't kill you all. Now, I need to go home. Just go to the nurse room, you will be fine," I said and went to home with no worries.

I knocked on the door again and again. "It's so strange, and never happened like this before," I whispered. "Mom.....mom!" I cried. I knocked noisily again and again.
Suddenly, the door was opened. "Screech!" I switched on the light. "Mom, I'm home," I yelled. But the words caught in my throat.
I found some food to help my nerves. I saw only a noodle soup packet. After eating the noodle soup, I fell asleep. Then, I overslept on the sofa. When I woke up, I saw my mom sitting by me.
At that time, I was alarmed suddenly. I told her, " Oh! mom you frightened me." But mom was still quiet and prepared the dinner. Dinner was ready. So, I had dinner with my mom. But mom didn't have dinner earnestly. After having dinner, I went to bed.
Early in the morning, I woke up from my bed. Then, I went out and exercised in my garden. At that time, I saw the dead cat in my garden. I went and looked at it. I saw a dead cat with with no intestine. I stuttered, " No......no......in.....intest....intestine." I ran into my house and I banged the door.I snapped and looked around with frightened eyes. I ran into the bedroom and recited a chant under the blankets. Then, I had fallen down in sleep.
At midnight, I woke up suddenly as soon as I heard a scream.
Then, I looked for my mom. At that time, my mom was not in bed. I couldn't find my mom, although I looked for her.
The next morning, I went to the kitchen. At the time, my mom has already prepared the breakfast.
Who is she?????

Tragic Father’s Incident

After years of my mother’s death, dad have been had been so depressed lately. Every time I come back to school, he acts really strange besides the usual. He always watches football on the TV, but now he just stands at the backyard for 30 minutes. The first time I saw him, he was burying something. I asked him “Dad, what are you doing,” He replied, “Well you know, just letting go of mom’s stuff.” After that day, we never spoke to each other a lot as usual. After months, I seem to see my father still acting strange. I also found blood stains at some corners of the house. I questioned him but then he snapped at me,” Go to your room son!” After a week, I was shocked to see a dead body in the basement. He confessed, “It was an act of wanting and depression,” After a few months, the police caught up to him, and they left me alone until my uncle too me in. I suppose the act of wanting has its consequences.

Hi Saiful,
Thanks for posting! You have such a great story. I have to give you half credit because it is late, but some points is better than no points. :)

I noticed that some of your dialogue punctuation is still incorrect. Be sure you know that stuff for the midterm! Consider rewriting this story with correct punctuation for practice.

As I came back from my super-Awesome,secret,bodacious, and cool Samurai-ninja club to my giant solid gold diamond-encrusted sky-scraper mansion with ruby, emerald, pearl, amethyst, sapphire and jade tiles, I saw my mother walking in the street mumbling something. The only words i could understand from her was,"The secret of it no longer remains a mystery." I got creeped out by this but still decided to bring her home. As we walked she kept mumbling something that sounded like a wild call, similar to a,"Hatee.Hattee.Hatee.Ho." She must be taking Spanish, I thought. When we reached the gates of my mansion, I rang the bell. It went,"Ring Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding." My mom laughed maniacally and said,"Oh no that's not what it sounds like." I was starting to get worried! I wanted to ask my mother why she was acting so strange but my teacher told me not to. It could disrupt the balance of the universe! I think. So the guards opened the gates and greeted us. We got into a little buggy and drove to my mansion. As we drove we saw a bunch of cats and dogs. The cats seemed to hate my mother but the dogs seemed to adore her. I was really curious. Finally, after 30 seconds I couldn't hold my curiosity in. Universe or no universe, I must ask this question. "Where did the animals come from?" My mother turned her head to me. She had big blue eyes, and a pointy nose. Like she chases mice and digs some holes. Her head turned a full 360 degrees and then started screaming," FRAKAKAKAKAKAKAKOW!" I blacked out. The secret of the fox shall forever remain a mystery.
