Due: Monday, October 28, 2013
In class today, we looked at an ABAB rhyme scheme.
Remember, an ABAB rhyme scheme is when every other line rhymes, such as:
A. I am giving up my cause
B. And turning to despair.
A. With all my wasted effort,
B. No longer do I care.
For review, reread the story we read in class today, The Froggie Apocalypse, here:
http://storybird.com/books/the-froggie-apocalypse/
ASSIGNMENTS
1. Choose any theme or storyline and write your own rhyming poetry using an ABAB scheme.
It should be 3-4 stanzas (four lines = one stanza).
2. If you have a Facebook account, find and "like" Ms. Nina's Facebook page: www.facebook.com/Ms.NinaHall.
This way you can stay updated on assignments, announcements, and even hints (like when there will be a pop quiz...)
