This book will be a big part of the museum. Visitors will pick up a book to read as they learn about the Holocaust.
You must separate your historical fiction story into three sections:
1) The Beginning
2) Arrest & Relocation
3) The Result
Type up your story with corrections. Adjust the margins to fit into a small book 4” x 5 ½”. (This is an A4 page quartered, which means it was folded in half, then folded in half again.) One way to make the margins smaller is by putting your text into two columns before printing it out.
The Cover
The cover should feature a prominent picture of the victim and his/her name.
Page 1 : The Beginning
Put the name of your Holocaust victim at the top. Then put when they were born and in what city:
Henoch Kornfeld
BORN: 1938
KOLBUSZOWA, POLAND
Page 2
Page 2 can be more text or a photo.
Page 3: Arrest & Relocation
Page 3 should be the second part of your story, which should feature the arrest of your victim by the Nazis and your victims story of relocating to a concentration camp, if applicable.
